Spring was in the air big time as the residents of Woodlands Nursing Home prepared for Easter by decoratiny the dayroom with Easter themes. It was great fun and as you can see from the photos a great success. Not to forget our little winged friends we also had a great day making bird buns and fat balls to put on our bird feeders. There is now plenty of activity outside with our little friends flying around and getting fat.
What a great success this year. After a solid performance by Fr Jim the party got under way with Pat Marnane giving his best. Peter Ryan was the first to get in on the act with a great rendition of " the famous Mr Ed". Things started to get a bit lively and alot of staff were seen doing various moves oin the dance floor including Alina and her Romanian showpiece!!!. plenty of families and visitors turned up for the occasion and all were well feb by Brid, Josie & Teresa who were slaving away as the rest of us took to the floor. A big thanks to all of the staff who helped out that day and to those who took time out on their day off to come in and lend their support.
