Woodlands Nursing home is a family run business with a long tradition of caring for the elderly. Set up in 1976 by Mary & Kevin Fitzgerald Woodlands has established itself as one of the leading Nursing homes in the Tipperary area. Now in the capable hands of Mary’s Children Paddy Fitzgerald and Sinead Carberry, Woodlands continues to set the standard in the care and wellbeing of all their residents.

With a definite emphasis on retaining the Homely atmosphere, all of the staff at Woodlands are from the local area which brings a continuity to all residents in their transfer from their own home into what we hope will become their “Home away from Home”

With a full daily activity program and visits from local musicians, school groups, religious orders etc. life in Woodlands is far from what you would expect in a healthcare setting.
